Shipping and Delivery

We ship with UPS and the US Postal Service. You should receive tracking info via email once we send your order out. Please contact us if you don't! If you create a store account, you can also track your orders from there.

If you happen to be in the San Francisco Bay Area, you're always welcome to come by and pick your order up.

We offer a free diagnostic of any MakingThings products you're having trouble with. If it turns out that the problem is the result of a manufacturing flaw, we will replace your product(s) free of charge within 90 days of the date of purchase.

If your product has been damaged in the course of normal use, we offer repair services at the rate of $50/hour. We will, of course, quote how many hours we expect it to take before actually doing the repairs.

If you are a student, we offer a 5% discount on both the Make Controller Kit and Make Controller Board. To be approved for this discount, please fax a copy of your current student identification card or other proof of current enrollment to (415) 255-9513, or e-mail a scanned copy to sales@makingthings.com. When placing your order in the store, please use the coupon code STUDENT just before you check out and the discount will be applied. Please note that your order will be held until we receive proof of your student status as described above.
